Bimetallic and trimetallic bearings, white metal linings

With a dedication to mechanics, meticulous care and the long experience of our technicians, designers and draughtsmen, we supply and repair spherical bearings, whole or in two halves, offset, in large and standard sizes, fitted on turbines, centrifugal and reciprocating compressors and gearboxes, with bimetallic and trimetallic linings (steel or cast iron + pink metal + white metal) with a thick layer of anti-friction metal.

We also manufacture and recondition crossheads, main and connecting-rod bearings for compressors of all types, pads for machine tool steady rests, bushings for grinding wheels, cradles and supports for mills and crushers.

Depending on the application we recommend the most appropriate lining method and any lubrication improvements. Our special processes guarantee maximum adhesion between base material and anti-friction metal, with a finished white metal lining thickness of up to 12 mm, even on cast iron parts where traditional methods (centrifugal or static) fail to bond. The white metal, of first quality and free from impurities, is sourced from leading Italian suppliers with chemical analysis certification.

Thanks to these processes, especially on repairs, the customer considerably reduces operating costs, with maximum output and efficiency of the repaired parts in service.

Bushings and sleeves with graphite inserts

The experience gained in maintenance and manufacturing allows us to design and supply bronze sliding bushings with self-lubricating graphite inserts, tailored to the customer’s needs according to the application.

Standard copper-based alloys are customised and modified, through an agreement with one of the leading Italian foundries, to obtain parts with high mechanical properties (hardness, strength, yield) together with anti-friction, sliding and rolling properties.

These applications are used where high mechanical loads are present and fluid lubricants cannot be used: food, plastics, moulds, electrical, hydroelectric, petrochemical and mechanical sectors.
