Founded in 1982 by Luigi Bisogni
F & B was founded in 1982 on the initiative of its founding partner, Luigi Bisogni, to meet the growing demand for quality and reliability in the mechanical engineering sector.
The need expressed by many companies, which later became our customers, was to be able to count on a highly qualified, punctual, attentive and technologically advanced professional service, able to follow the evolution of the market and of the companies themselves, while providing a very high quality standard of products and services.
F & B was therefore created to provide the technical solution to the problems of manufacturers and users of industrial machinery, equipment and plants of all kinds, through the supply of spare parts, maintenance services, improvement of machine performance and reliability, specific design studies and applied engineering.
Our core business
High-precision mechanical engineering with the supply of spare parts made through special processes, and mechanical maintenance on equipment and plants in the chemical, petrochemical, oil, energy, pharmaceutical, food, mineral water, steel, marine, cement, mining, paper and moulding sectors.

Many years of activity, continuous monitoring of the market and a constant pursuit of improvement make F & B one of the leading, albeit small, Italian companies in the industrial manufacturing and maintenance sector, present through its customers in the most demanding branches of mechanical engineering. We continue our evolution to provide the highest added value in expertise and technical reliability.

In Terni, on the initiative of founding partner Luigi Bisogni, for plant maintenance and the manufacture of industrial spare parts.
- 1990s and 2000sSpecialisation
White metal linings, graphite-insert bushings and the overhaul of compressors, pumps, turbines and gearboxes for Oil & Gas, chemical, energy and steel.
- ISO 9001The quality system
Bureau Veritas certification of the management system, renewed over time up to the current ISO 9001:2015.
- VareseThe operating branch
Opening of the branch in the province of Varese for orders in northern Italy and abroad, with planning still managed from Terni.
- 2020Digital transition
“F&B towards the digital transition” project with ERDF ROP funds: new ICT tools and management software for smart working.
- 2024The metrology room
ZEISS SPECTRUM coordinate measuring machine: dimensional inspection to a thousandth of a millimetre, GD&T and reverse engineering.

A 54-module photovoltaic system with storage and a new website in two languages: F&B keeps investing in quality, reliability and people.
